you were so descriptive this was sooooooo helpful thankyou!

  2. RAEview says:

@PixieePerfect It looks good in photos. I would suggest you set with a powder, though, since school days are usually 6 or 7 hours!

  3. RAEview says:

@PixieePerfect This one is my favorite. LM’s oil-free foundation is excellent, too! It gives the skin a more luminous look :)

  4. PixieePerfect says:

Oh! and one more question :) Do you like other Laura Mercier foundations more compared to this one?
    Thanks again! :)

  5. PixieePerfect says:

Do you think this foundation would be good for the first day of school, especially if the first day involves taking school pictures, and if the first day of school is somewhere at the end of August? :)

I was actually looking at this earlier and was quite interested… I feel like it would stand well against northwestern weather (as in WA, OR, ID), but I’m not completely sure… thanks!

@elizm12321 It’s never streaky and you can even wear it sheerly. This foundation is also good for daily use, especially if you have normal skin or slightly dry skin!

  7. elizm12321 says:

1 does this foundation ever go streaky when applied with fingers?
2 so you can go for medium coverage when applied lightly?
3 do you feel this foundation is ok for everyday?
    thanks!

  8. RAEview says:

@DatGyall Yes, you can wear this foundation in photos =) Just make sure you avoid setting with a translucent powder. Stick to a colored powder to set and take photos before the wedding to make sure there’s no white cast from the powder!

  9. RAEview says:

@sam112233210 Most foundations transfer, though! That’s why I love Dior Forever so much. YSL’s Teint Resist does not transfer too much, either. And Dior’s Nude Powder is exactly what you’re looking for! This foundation can be worn daily if you have normal or slightly dry skin but since my skin veers toward oily in the summer, I only use in it in winter =)

Hi there, I just purchased this today and noticed you have a video about it. Is this foundation good for flash photography as I will be wearing it for a friend’s wedding and do not want the white cast on my face. Thanks in advance.

hi! i really would like to give this foundation a go but i was really disappointed when i heard that i had to set it with a powder so it wouldn’t transfer. i would like a translucent, very light, very hydrating powder. i know that’s quite demanding but i thought you would be able to give me a good recommendation? thank you! also is this foundation approrpriate for everyday wear?
ps. very detailed review, so helpful! ^_^

@0620angelaji I had the same issue unfortunately! it looked great at first but shortly after it was a little cakey for me and I could tell I had foundation on…it didn’t look “natural” on me.

  13. RAEview says:

@CatEyes611 It lasts about 6-8 hours.. 8 if you use primer and set with powder!

Hi Rae, I have been on the search for a perfect foundation, so I’m doing some intense reseach. So I have dry skin and have a super naturally pale skin. Actually I tried to get color matched at MAC and I’m way too pale to be NC15. I looked at the Laura Mercier website and with this foundation they actually have my skin color shade which is Soft Ivory. So I’m just wondering how long would this foundation last during the day and would you recommend this foundation for me? Sorry this is so long. :-)

  15. RAEview says:

@bonesfan10 Rose Ivory should suit you best since NW means you have pink undertones!

  16. bonesfan10 says:

hey im a nw15 what shade shud i get x

  17. RAEview says:

@tenzinlhadon I don’t own any plum lipsticks at the moment, sorry!

  18. tenzinlhadon says:

can you do a night out/clubbing tutorial with a lip colour such as…plum? i don’t know how to do my eyes with my revlon plum lipstick

  19. RAEview says:

@SV12341 I like to use Bobbi Brown’s Sheer Finish Loose Powder. Laura Mercier’s Setting Powder is great, too, but I prefer BB’s!

  20. SV12341 says:

hi, i just bought this two days ago.i am just wondering what would be the best setting powder you would recommend.? we got the same kind of skin and color..thanks

  21. RAEview says:

@0620angelaji My skin takes A LOT of effort, though. It’s not natural ^^ I’m sorry this didn’t work out for you, though =(

  22. 0620angelaji says:

I bought the exactly same one! And the only big problem for me is that it cakes up my face. I’m just so disappointed. I don’t have a perfect skin so I need a full coverage foundation, sadly it’s not the one for me. I wish that i could have the same skin as yours

@tenzinlhadon My favorite is Bobbi Brown’s Sheer Finish Loose Powder in Pale Yellow =)

  25. tenzinlhadon says:
