    I developed what seemed to be a rash on my chest. It looks like a whole bunch of little irritated pimples. I went to the Dermatologist and was diagnosed with Rosacea. I was given medication for it. Where I have the Rosacea I become a little itchy sometimes and I feel like scratching. Is this normal? I wonder if I was diagnosed correctly. Please help.

    @775013 ,
    The alternatives are many. I have them in a database on my website and cover most of them in my book, Rosacea 101. The most popular ate Photo Dynamic Therapy which includes laser, IPL and LED. Other alternatives are over the counter topical treatments which are listed in my database and book such as the ZZ cream, Rosacea Care, Rosacea LTD, Ovante, DermaDoctor, and Skin Actives. There are literally hundreds of over the counter treatments for redness or rosacea, including vitamins.
